Welcome to the Tadcaster Theatre Company member pages.


This wiki is used to store and serve documents relevent to T.T.C. (formerly T.A.O.S). It is to be used as a guide for members and to provide up to date information about what is going on in the Society. You will have to register which is free and easy to do (Follow the link at the top of the page) and then log in to be able to read the pages but unless you have been given access you will not be able to edit the pages that you see.

Current Show

Hello everyone.

The date for the Spring Show has now been finalised as Wed April 15th 2009 to Saturday 18th April 2009 allowing us a couple more weeks to perfect and polish!

As usual we have booked the Riley-Smith Hall from the preceding Saturday (11TH) to the following Sunday (19th) to allow the Stage Manager (and volunteers!) time and access for the sound and lighting equipment, for set movement, seating, technicals and all that other stuff I don’t understand, and the 19th for the usual tidy up and cleaning. As these dates run over the Easter weekend there will not be a rehearsal on Good Friday (9th) or Easter Sunday (12th) but we will be holding the band call and technical run on Bank Holiday Monday 13th.

The next rehearsal will be, as discussed, on Tuesday 18th November at the Boys’ Sunday School and Thursday 20th November at the same venue. These rehearsals will be for auditions for solo, duets and small groups. As usual, on Jilly-Anne, Angela and Carole will be there to help, advise, prompt, coerce and coax those who need it. And audition pieces will be revealed on Tuesday. You may, as always, choose your own audition piece if you wish, remembering, please, to bring music for Carole on (or before) the day of the auditions.

Auditions will take place on Sunday 23rd November at the Riley -Smith Hall, starting at 10am to 11am for new and lapsed members, then 11am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3pm for everyone else, first come first served.


Please note that rehearsals will be 7.20pm (new start time) to 10pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and on Sunday afternoons from January 4th 1pm to 6pm.

Of course, not everyone will be called for every rehearsal, and once the show is cast Angela and Jilly-Anne will be able to say who is called and when.


The first full chorus rehearsal will be on Thursday 27th November at the Boys’ Sunday School.

As usual, please bring as many new members as you like, and if you think anyone who should has not received this for whatever reason, please pass it on to them.
